When someone is in need, it’s often not a question of whether others will turn their backs on the needy. It’s a question of being AWARE of someone being in need in the first place. When we know someone’s hurting and we can help, we tend to do it.

The only problem I have with “The Secret” has nothing to do with its content, but in the fact that its popularity may overshadow its potency. People looking for a quick fix — lose weight, make money, whatever — may miss the awesome and simple principles taught in “The Secret.” Then, if they don’t drop that 10 pounds, or make that big check . . . “Ah, it’s a hoax. I knew it all the time.”
